Decontamination

Why decontamination is necessary
After catching and removing problem animals, the urine, droppings and pheromones which have been left behind must be removed. We are a highly experienced pest control and wildlife management service and will thoroughly treat the affected area with a special enzyme-based biological decontaminating agent, applied with an electric atomizer. This will eliminate the odors and pheromones left behind, as well as aid in the breakdown of organic matter. Pheromones are chemicals emitted by animals that are unable to be easily detected by humans. They act as a billboard to other animals that says who has been there and how long ago. Without proper decontamination these traces are left behind and advertise the available occupancy in your basement, crawlspace or attic. Our treatment also eliminates parasites left behind that can affect your pets, kills mold that can decay wood, and effectively destroys zoonotic diseases (diseases spread from animals to humans) such as raccoon roundworm or histoplasmosis spores on bat and bird droppings, which can infect people. Anytime an animal has been removed from a premises it is advisable to have the area decontaminated.
